Race for Jane
Race for Jane is a virtual 5K walk/run that shows support for and solidarity with victims and survivors of sexual violence. Participants receive race packets in the mail that include t-shirts, special race bibs, and other prizes from our sponsors. They play games on facebook in the months leading up to the event, then share pictures via social media on race day. Race for Jane is an all-inclusive way for people to interact, win prizes, and participate from anywhere in the world regardless of fitness level.
At Race for Jane, each participant wears a race bib that details the story of someone who has experienced sexual abuse. They dedicate their walk or run to this anonymous survivor on race day.
Race for Jane is held annually in April. Information for participants and sponsors is available at www.RaceforJane.com.
The Justice Gala is a murder mystery mock trial dinner theatre where the audience plays the jury and decides the verdict at the end of the night. The black tie event includes a silent auction, jewelry sale by Jewels With Heart, presentation of the Jane Doe Distinction of Dignity, and a theatre production written by the Jane Doe board and performed by actors from the St. Louis area. When safe and possible, a client who has experienced the work of Jane Doe first hand comes to share his or her story with our special guests.
The Justice Gala is held annually in October/November. Table and sponsorship information is available online at www.JusticeGala.com.
Sponsor A Child
Jane Doe’s annual holiday campaign gives you a chance to support a child survivor of sexual violence for just $9/month. Child sponsors receive special emails each time a Jane Doe lawyer represents a child in court. Through these ongoing stories, our sponsors stay in the loop on the enormous impact of their monthly investment.
The Sponsor A Child campaign runs annually from November 1-January 15. For more information and updates on the upcoming campaign, please click here.
